About Our Owner Megan

Compassionate - Reliable - Efficent

As a lifelong Odessan, my connection to our community runs deep, especially through my family’s pharmacy, which my parents bought when I was just 5 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve held every position here, from janitor to pharmacist, ingraining myself in every facet of the business. Today, the pharmacy is as integral to my children’s lives as it was to mine. Despite a recent fire in the businesses next to us in July 2024, I want our community to know that we are still open and offering curbside prescription pickup to ensure that your health needs are met safely and conveniently.

FAQs

What does it mean that it's compounded?

The FDA defines drug compounding as the process of combining, mixing or altering ingredients to create a medication tailored to the needs of an individual patient. We use a commercially available medication with a liquid base specially formulated to deliver medications like semaglutide through the oral mucosa.

What does sublingual mean?

It means under the tongue. CSS is a liquid medication that you will take and hold under your tongue for at least 90 seconds every day and then swallow. It is absorbed through the oral mucosa and the longer it is in contact with that surface, the better.

How much does each cost?

If you utilize our Telehealth services, compounded sublingual semaglutide starts at $160/month.

Will insurance cover either medication?

We do not bill insurance for compounded medications.

What's the difference between CSS and Ozempic?

The active ingredient in both is semaglutide. Ozempic is a manufactured medication that is delivers semaglutide in an injection. CSS is compounded and delivers the medication sublingually. CSS doesn’t have to be refrigerated, isn’t facing the shortages that Ozempic and the like are and doesn’t involve a needle.

Info For Prescribers

If you are a prescriber and would like information on prescribing compounded sublingual semaglutide, please call us at (432) 366-2868 or email us at [email protected].

How do I get a prescription?

You can talk with your local physician or complete an assessment with our Telehealth provider to determine your eligibility. If appropriate, they will send a prescription to us directly.

What is involved in the assessment?

You enter your vitals, your goals, and submit a clothed, full body photo and our Telehealth provider will assess what medications are appropriate for you and send them to us. You pay for the assessment when you pay for your medications.

What if I don’t live in your area?

That’s ok! We can ship anywhere in Texas.
